a remarkable musician and dedicated music educator whose passion for music began at the tender age of 3 when she first embarked on her journey with the piano. A natural musician and performer, Marcela's musical talents led her to become a singer-songwriter, recording her own material and captivating audiences with her soulful melodies.

As a professional musician, Marcela's versatility shines as she embraces roles as a touring and studio musician, showcasing her proficiency on the piano and wowing audiences with her incredible vocal range. But Marcela's talents extend far beyond her own performances - she is also a wonderful multi-instrumental teacher, sharing her expertise in Piano, Singing, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin, Drums, and more. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Marcela welcomes students of all ages, from 3 years old and up, and has an uncanny ability to connect with kids, making her a favorite among young learners.

Embracing the therapeutic power of music, Marcela utilizes music therapy techniques in her teaching and is currently studying to earn her music therapy certification. Specializing in helping neurodivergent kids connect through music, Marcela creates a safe and inclusive space for every student to flourish.

Beyond her role as an educator, Marcela brings her expertise to the world of musical theater as a director and has worked on numerous musical productions. She also provides invaluable guidance for audition preparation and works with homeschool parents to develop tailored music programs.

Marcela's music studio is a haven for exploration, filled with an array of instruments, including pianos, keyboards, drum sets, percussion, guitars, ukuleles, and more. Specializing in music exploration, composition, and music theory tutoring, Marcela inspires her students to find their unique voices and nurture their creativity.

A performer and singer-songwriter at heart, Marcela's talents extend to pop and operatic singing, and she has honed her skills as a liturgical musician and cantor in church settings, leading choirs with grace and passion.

A sweet and nurturing presence, Marcela's bi-lingual abilities in fluent Spanish and English add an extra dimension of inclusivity to her teaching. Her dedication to creating a supportive environment is further evident through her specialty in teaching virtual lessons, connecting with students locally and from around the world.

Marcela's commitment to music education led her to establish her own business, where she continues to inspire and uplift students on their musical journeys. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in music therapy, Marcela is set to become a certified music therapist, enhancing her ability to touch lives through the harmonious blend of music and therapy.
